The suggestion in some quarters based on what the Founder of TCLP-UK based on his personal story of having sought the dethronement of the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for inadequate directives to the Courts of the United Kingdom on his quest for justice against those who systematically defamed him since 1998 is that we may be a Republican movement.
Nothing can be further from the truth. We believe that with the cultural traditions of the United Kingdom that political parties have to consider in discharging their duties in the House of Commons and in the House of Lords, a Monarchy is essential.
TCLP-UK considers that the Monarch of the day has overall Head of State duties, and that we the people are subjects to the decisions endorsed by the Monarch, now His Majesty King Charles III. The TCLP-UK accordingly does not suggest to the Monarch how to discharge his or her role as the Head of State.
This is essential for every country on Earth needs a Head of State, or else there will be chaos. In the United States of America, the Supreme Court is the Head of State and can overrule the decisions of the President as the Commander in Chief. The trials that former President Donald Trump is under investigation on proves his actions under his term in office can be subsequently be considered unlawful and even criminal so he can be put on Trial. It follows that even a sitting President is not above the law. They have to abide by the decision of the Supreme Court interpreting the Constitution. There are rules that prevent easy Amendment of the Constitution so that the Supreme Court of the United State has a relatively easy task to discharge their duties as the Committee representing the Head of State.
In the United Kingdom, the situation is different. The Supreme Court here has limited powers and does not represent the Head of State. It is subject to the oversight of the Joint Committee of the Privy Council and this Privy Council is headed by the Monarch of the Day. The Founder issued civil proceedings a decade or so ago against the late Queen Elizabeth II in Medway County Court for £50,000 in damages. The case was not even acknowledged by the Court. The Founder also took her to the International Criminal Court with the same result. These show that according to the Constitution of the United Kingdom the Monarch is above the law.
The Founder of TCLP-UK has learnt this from a 26 year study of the Constitution at first hand.
So TCLP-UK can never be a Republican movement.
