Dear Rehman Chisthi
''Thousands of people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) are being denied a life changing drug - based on where they live in the UK. Fampridine is a treatment that can help MS patients walk and manage their fatigue. It’s already available on the NHS in Scotland and Wales. [3] But in England patients are forced to either pay up to £600 a month, or live with MS’s worst effects''.
The government has a limited amount of money to spend on the NHS, I accept that, but this Postcode lottery is central to the integrity of our country, the United Kingdom. We cannot have a divided Union where devolved assemblies have different laws on who gets access to the National Health Service in any way, shape of form. Either the whole concept of devolved assemblies is disbanded, or Wales and Scotland should be fined under a Court action to test the legality of providing Frampridine to its inhabitants when it is denied to Multiple Sclerosis sufferers in England. Either that or England should also dispense the drug on the NHS to MS sufferers in this part of the nation. Let us keep our democracy functioning in coherent manner. That is all that I wish to say to you on this issue.
Yours sincerely

If you personally suffer from MS, or know someone who suffers from the condition, could you tell us how having Fampridine available on the NHS could be life-changing for you or the person you know? How will it affect day-to-day life?
I do not know about the Pharmacology of Multiple Sclerosis and the efficacy of Frampridine in reducing its debilitationg effects on MS sufferers. I knew one patient who suffered from some kind of MS but he died years ago unfortunately.
Are you happy for the 38 Degrees office team to use your story, or parts of it, in media work for the campaign (such as news articles, social media and to share with MPs)?
