TCLS is concerned that economic developement continues to take precedence over protection of the environment in Brazil so that in not so distant future the entire Amazonoian rainforest could be obliterated. Rainforests are a treasure for the entire mankind and biodiversity without which the world will become a desert. It must be stopped in its tracks.
